Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Chicken and Spices: Fold in the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and half of the cheddar cheese. If you’re using blue cheese, add it at this stage as well.
  4. Transfer to Baking Dish: Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish (an 8×8 inch dish works well).
  5. Top with Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the dip.
  6. Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
  • Freezing: This dip can be frozen before baking. Just thaw in the refrigerator overnight and bake as instructed when you’re ready to serve.
